External Transfers
Managing your money across different financial institutions has never been easier! Our External Transfer service allows you to securely transfer funds between your ACU account and accounts at other financial institutions. Whether you need to move money for savings, loan payments, or everyday expenses, this service provides a flexible and convenient solution.
How to enroll in External Transfers
- Log in to your Online Banking.
- Request access to external transfers by going to the 'Services and Settings' tab. Under 'Preferences', select 'Add External Transfer Account'.
- Accept the Service Agreement to proceed.
- Complete the application by entering the external account details.
- Validate your external transfer accounts by logging in to Online Banking and going to the 'Services and Settings' tab. Under 'Preferences, select 'Validate External Transfer Accounts'.
- Start transferring once validation is successful.
How to schedule External Transfers
- Via online account, go to the 'Move Money' tab and select 'Schedule Single Transfer' or 'Schedule Multiple Transfers' under 'Transfer Money'.
- Via mobile app, go to the ‘Move Money’ tab and select 'Transfer Money'.
Please Note:
- Transfers to and from accounts at other financial institutions must be scheduled at least one business day in advance of the effective date of the transfer.
- Transfers schedule before 2pm on a business day will be processed on the same business day. Transfers scheduled after 2pm or on a nonbusiness day will be processed the next business day. Once processed, transactions will post within 24 business hours.
Pending Transfers
To view, edit , or cancel external transfers:
- Via online account, go to 'Move Money' and under 'Transfer Money', select Schedule Single Transfer or Schedule Multiple Transfers.
- Via mobile app, go to the 'Move Money', select 'Transfer Money', then 'Activity'.
